It’s completely understandable to struggle with the idea that you can truly have it all and that you are the one creating your reality. This doubt often comes from deep-rooted conditioning that tells us things must be difficult, that we are limited, or that life is unpredictable.
Belief is complex, even when you’ve witnessed manifestations unfold. The below are some possible reasons why you might struggle:
- Subconscious Doubts – Deep-seated beliefs from past conditioning may conflict with your conscious experiences.
- Fear of Disappointment – Believing fully means being vulnerable to the possibility of things not working out.
- Imposter Syndrome – You might feel like your manifestations were coincidences rather than your own power at work.
- Need for Control – The mind often wants tangible proof or control over outcomes, making trust difficult.
- Cultural or Logical Conditioning – Society and logic often dismiss manifestation as unrealistic, creating internal conflict.
- Self-Worth Doubts – A part of you may feel unworthy of having it all, even if logically you know you are.
- Fear of Responsibility – Truly accepting that you are the creator of your reality means taking full responsibility for both the good and the bad, which can feel overwhelming.
- Past Struggles – If you’ve faced hardship, your mind may resist the idea that things can flow easily now.
- Society’s Conditioning – We are often taught that success requires struggle, which makes effortless manifestation seem unreal.
- Fear of Losing It – Sometimes, the fear of losing what you manifest creates resistance to fully believing in it.
The key is to nurture trust in your own experiences. Journaling, meditation, or reaffirming past manifestations can help bridge the gap between experience and belief (I personally keep a documents on things I’ve manifested and read it often remind myself of my power). Shift from proving manifestation works to trusting that it does. Look back at what you’ve already manifested—big or small. Remind yourself that belief is a practice, not a one-time decision.
Sometimes, you might manifest things but not exactly the way you intend. This happens when subconscious beliefs, emotions, and focus dictate your manifestations more than intentional choice.
To gain better control over your conscious manifestations:
1. Identify Patterns in Your Manifestations
- Look at what you’ve manifested in the past (good and bad).
- What emotions, beliefs, or thoughts were dominant when those things happened?
- This helps you see where your subconscious is influencing your reality.
2. Strengthen Your Awareness
- Practice mindful thinking—observe what you’re focusing on throughout the day.
- Keep a journal of your dominant emotions and thoughts to notice trends.
- Shift negative or autopilot thoughts to align with what you want instead of what you fear.
3. Be Specific & Intentional
- Instead of just wanting “better” or “more,” define exactly what you desire.
- Use affirmations and visualization that align with this specific goal.
- Example: Instead of “I want more money,” say, “I am now receiving $10,000 easily and gratefully.”
4. Detach from Fear-Based Manifestation
- If you often manifest things you don’t want, ask yourself:
- “Am I focusing on this out of fear?”
- “Am I worried about something going wrong?”
- Redirect your energy toward what you do want, rather than avoiding what you don’t.
5. Practice Revision & Redirecting Energy
- If you feel something undesirable is manifesting, revise it in your mind.
- Example: If you start feeling like a situation will go wrong, visualize it working out in your favour instead.
- Try to keep calm like deep breathing techniques.
6. Use Intentional Affirmations
- Shift your core belief to: “I am the conscious creator of my reality, and I manifest only what aligns with my desires.”
- Repeat daily to reinforce control over what manifests.
7. Trust & Let Go
- The more you try to control every detail, the more resistance you create.
- Set your intentions clearly, trust, and allow the universe to bring it in the best way.
