2005

Before I was a teenager, my visual process began. I created a world in my mind, perhaps to escape the everyday mundane high school life. I thought of a parallel universe where the characters could be ‘real’ that worked alongside the real world – similar to the concept of augmented reality.

2006

The world developed, the main archetypes for Prashaila and Shaurya were developed and firmly established (though their names changed often). The other characters were also developing. Everyone was living inside my mind.

2008

Whilst on a visiting-family holiday in my teens, I was given a notebook. From memory, that was the first time, I wrote down stories on paper from this world. Though I may have done some digital writing with different characters. This world (Paragon Universe, named differently at the time) already existed. I started writing scenes, for my eyes only. I adored that book. It has since been destroyed and was “digitised” – meaning I typed the stories all out digitally.

2009 – 2012

The world developed, the characters were established, seven pairings, masculine and feminine – I was drawn to the number seven. The world was starting to take shape with design, places, locations, times. Small scenes and stories were written.

2013

The characters underwent core changes in name to what they are today.

2016

Paragon Empire, Paramount Academy, Paradox Intelligence was named. The characters had ‘wings’ within the respective locations. The stories were written in seasons, timings, different lives, different versions of themselves.

2017 – 2021

Creative writing was a hobby I returned to every so often. I liked researching world design. Characters. Short stories. I realised, I’m not good at writing endings, especially concrete ones – so they were structured like scenes or TV shows episodes.

2022

I returned to writing often but it became a less ‘fictional’ world and more like dreams I would like to create into reality one day.

2024

Cognitive Artistry started developing digitally.

January 2025 – June 2025

This is the first time, I started sharing the fictional world. Articles or stories were published. The characters were kept but they functioned as administrative support for the website rather than as characters – the “Cogniverse”. A website dedicated to creativity and manifesting.

August 2025

Paramount Academy and Paradox: Intelligence finally sees daylight after tens years of being hidden.

May 2026

The character’s wings were named to make it easier for the reader and the characters returned inside the stories rather than ‘admins’.

September 2026

The Cogniverse circled back to Paragon Universe where it returned to fictional writing being central rather than self development.
